This hidden track runs from Downs Farm at the southern end to Mill Lane. It is situated to the rear of the Academy.

The track starts as a dilapidated hard surface (allowing vehicular access to the waterworks) leading onto a muddy, overgrown, almost inpenetrable narrow path.

Working with the adjacent landowners and Hastings Academy, the plan is to establish a firm suface of at least

4 metres width.

Removal of the overgrowth will allow for planting of native English hedgerows and shrubs rather than the invasive Rhododendrons.
